Educational Ministries

United Baptist Church has a strong Bible-centered educational ministry.  In our desire to help children, teenagers and adults grow in the knowledge and practice of the Christian faith, we provide the following ministries:

Sunday School meets from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with Bible study classes for children and teenagers.  Several classes are also offered for adults covering a range of topics. A nursery is also available.

KidMo (Kids In Motion) is our brand new, high energy, interactive children’s church ministry for children ages four to ten.  KidMo meets during both the 8:45 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. worship services and includes meaningful worship, team competition, Bible memory, video teaching by Johnny Rogers and small group time.

Girls Alive is our mid-week ministry for young ladies in grades 1 through 6.  They meet each Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Christian Service Brigade is our mid-week ministry for young men (ages 8 to 18)  They meet each Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:o0 p.m.

Combined Junior and Senior High School Youth Group meets Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The beginning hour from 6:00 to 7:00pm, we have hangout time (video games, hockey, outdoor sports, general unplanned hangout). From 7:00-8:00pm we have a formal youth group time with group activities, games and a lesson. Teens can come to one session or attend both. Special activities are planned on a monthly basis.

Small Group Bible Studies meet in various locations throughout the week.
