This week's message:  "Paul's Theology of Mission"

Scripture reading - Romans 15:14-33

The United Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church where Jesus is preached so that everyone can have the opportunity to know Him in a personal way, have their sins forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life.

The pulpit ministry of the United Baptist Church is Bible-based, where the word of God is preached and taught as authoritative and helpful for daily living, answering life's questions and giving direction and assurance of eternal life with God. We believe that God "has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (II Peter 1:3). The timeless truths of the Scriptures are taught and explained with an eye to applying their principles to helping people live their lives successfully in the 21st century.

The Bible used for pulpit readings and from which the pastor preaches is The New International Version, a translation that is very readable, yet having a strong commitment to inerrancy. A number of members in the church prefer and use a variety of other translations and paraphrases.

Our worship services and the lower two floors of the building offer accessibility to those with disabilities.

Hearing Assistance is available for the Sunday Worship services. The wireless FM receiver unites make it possible for those with hearing difficulties to hear clearly. Ushers can show you where to pick up the units and how to use them.
